So have we or have we not lived before? That is the question, this time around... So yes, surely I was an Egyptian Princess? Does my newest dog, Pinky, not remind me regularly of this possible connection by just being herself, so Regal, so fast and so affectionate? My thoughts turn to meeting the classical concert pianist, Sylvia Schulman Benatar. Surely it is no coincidence that she is living on a farm in Swellendam, surrounded by Egyptan Arab horses? My name means "Lover of Horses" and although only thus far I have enquired about the horse manure, available at R10 a bag, it surely will not be long before I am "back in the saddle". Thanks Shakira for being you, for singing the "Waka Waka" at our FIFA World Cup Soccer spectacle here in South Africa... and the words of the song echo in my mind - "You're a good soldier, choosing your battles, pick yourself up, dust yourself off & back in the saddle".
I have watched quite a number of Shakira Waka Waka video on UTube and even posted a video response. That one now is not even available for viewing in the my country - the country she sang it in. This is the link to the live performance Shakira did in Johannesburg at the opening ceremoney. It is so magnificent I will try to post the link here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRDgVGHB6eM
The embed code has also been disabled - unfortunately. If my link doesn't work, try going to Google and looking up UTube Shakira Waka Waka (This Time For Africa)
I have posted a video response, i.e. Insane Outsane by Johannes Basson with a picture clip video of pics I recently took, staying at Bagatelle Stud Farm, Stanford. Yes, the farm is still for sale if anyone is interested in purchasing it... start talking at R7.5 million and you may just have a deal. Let me know. I am not difficult to find :-)
Alright, now back to the reason I started blogging here today - I wrote a bit of my book the other day.. the one entitled "Rivers of Love, Life and Something Else"
Perhaps to a new post? OK
